A5 Japanese Wagyu has become world-renowned for its unique taste and one-of-a-kind texture. Authentic A5 Wagyu must be imported from Japan and come with a Certificate of Authenticity. Additionally, there are a variety of prefectures within Japan that Wagyu are raised in. Each prefecture raises their cattle in different climates, with different diets, and even different genetics.

Takamori Wagyu is one of the most highly sought-after types of Wagyu beef. All Takamori Wagyu is sourced from the Iwakuni farm located in Japan's Yamaguchi Prefecture. The term "Drunken" comes from the cattle's unique diet. A special sake mash made from Dassai Sake is created to provide nutritional value while imparting a distinctive flavor to the meat. Takamori Drunken Wagyu steaks tend to have a tender, silky texture with a flavor that's a bit sweeter and lighter than other steaks.
